my version of hollyleafs return

It had rained today, so I had to leave the tunnels because of that. At least it was night time so none of ThunderClan was awake. I missed Thunderclan: the warmth of the air in newleaf, the shade of the trees if it is too hot, the softness of the ground when you dig your claws under, and the eager feeling when WindClan or ShadowClan try to steal our territory. I even missed the squealing of the kits from the nursery when they got too cold, and their excitement on the first day as an apprentice, or their first battle, and ending up at their vigil sitting silently in the cool breeze at night. The thing I missed most was Lionblaze and Jayfeather. I missed Jayfeather's aggression whenever anyone thought he couldn't do what he could because he was blind, and Lionblaze's protectiveness over him, how he would always cut off others in the middle of a sentence when they were going to say some obvious fact that Jayfeather was blind and couldn't be a warrior. I wanted to go back.

  My stomach growled; I'd gotten too caught up in my thoughts and hadn't even thought about hunting. I tasted the air...mouse! It felt like I hadn't eaten a mouse in five whole moons! I got down into my hunting crouch and realized how long it had been since I'd hunted a mouse. I remembered to keep my tail down, spread my body weight evenly, keep my mouth open and made sure I was downwind. I slid across the ground silently, the mouse's ears twitched, and I stopped for a heartbeat. I heard a leaf move to the left of my mouse and saw another cat jump out, the cat caught the mouse as I flinched back into the shadows. The bush I ran into was unluckily a nettle bush and I screeched in pain as I stepped on a thorn. Just as the other cat was going to leave it heard me and came over to see who it was.
"H-Hollyl-leaf?" I heard the voice say. It sounded like Lionblaze, I tried to slide back into the bush farther but my foot hurt too much, so I sat a still as I could and closed my eyes
"H-Hollyleaf?" he said again. I heard him move closer "She's watching us from Starclan" he finished and started to leave again.
"No!" I squeaked in terror, but I realized my mistake to late.
  He started to move toward me again, no, no, no, don't come closer. I pleaded in my head. I heard him taste the air, then gasp.
"Is it really you, Hollyleaf?" I heard him mew in shock. He padded closer, I held my breath. He was standing so close, I just wanted the run up to him and purr my heart out, but he thought I was dead, I wanted to keep it that way. He was standing right in front of me now, I felt the heat coming off of him, I hadn't been this warm in a very long time because I've been living in the tunnles.
I sighed "Lionblaze, yes it is me." I opened my eyes and he flinched back from the glare in my eyes.
"Hollyleaf...how...how are you alive?" He asked. "I thought that the rocks...didn't they crush you?" I didn't want to answer either of those, I looked down.
"Well...since I knew...when I killed Ashfur I knew no one would ever let me join the clan again, and l didn't want to live know that as long I'm alive I would be breaking the warrior code." I said in defeat
"Hollyleaf," He said. "I'm alive, my mother is Leafpool and my father is Crowfeather, and I can still live by the warrior code. When you left, everybody missed you, we grieved for you, and we all thought you were dead!" He finished.
"But I still killed Ashfur; we were the only ones who knew he was evil. They would never let me back." I said.
"But Hollyleaf, nobody knows that you killed Ashfur, we never told anyone."
"R - real - really?" I stuttered.
"Yes, we just told-"
"See! You did tell them!"
"No, you never let me finish, we just told them that he probably hit his head on a rock and fell in the river."
I looked down, I could go back to the Clan. I thought. I looked up at Lionblaze "Could...you...take" I swallowed "Could you take me back to the clan?"
He purred "Jayfeather will be surprised to see who's back when we get home!"
  He was still purring as he started to walk, it sounded like he would never stop. I recognized the big oak as we passed it, i didn't remember it being so...big. We kept walking, we reached the Old Thunderpath so I knew that we were getting close, and I was getting a bit exited. I started to smell lots of other cats. I felt my pelt brush the tunnel entrance, and a breeze of air as I stepped out. The camp looked darker, like there was somthing blocking the stars from coming down. Everybody was asleep but I kept following Lionblaze, I wanted to go see Jayfeather, but he wasn't taking me in the direction of the medicine cat den if I remembered where it was correctly. I heard some rocks tumble down infront of me and relized that we were going to Firestars den. I followed Lionblaze up the rocks and waited outside.
"Firestar," Lionblaze called into the den but Firestar didn't answer. "Firestar." he called again.
"Lionblaze," I heard Firestar answer now. "what could you possibly need this late at night?"
"Please let me in or you come out, someone is here!"
"Fine im coming." I heard him yawn and stretch then pad out to meet us. "Hollyleaf?" He said in surprise
"Firestar." I said and bowed my head.
"Well Lionblaze, it looks as if night hunting for you brings back more than just prey." He joked. "So Hollyleaf, what brings you back?"
I gasped, "H-How did you kn-know I wasn't d-dead?" I choked on the last word.
"Well after we grieved for you, since we didn't have your body to find out how you died I wanted to ask you in Starclan. I looked everywhere for you but I couldn't find you and I knew that you wouldn't be in the dark forest. You always felt very strong about the warrior code, but you never answered my question, what brings you back?"
"I… I missed Thu- the clan" I said as I looked away.
"Well I would love to have you back Hollyleaf!"
